Several local colleges came in on U.S. News and World Report's list of best colleges.

Nationally, the University of Rochester came in at 33rd and St. John Fisher College at 151.

On the regional list the Rochester Institute of Technology ranked seventh, Nazareth College 33rd, Roberts Wesleyan 47th and the College of Brockport 68th.
