Honorary coaches and cheerleaders were named Wednesday for this weekend's Courage Bowl.

The Courage Bowl is an annual game between Saint John Fisher College and the University of Rochester to benefit Camp Good Days.

The not-for-profit benefits children touched by cancer and the honorary coaches and cheerleaders are all children who have the disease.

"Football becomes such a part of our culture that at this time of year, every red-blooded American boy and probably a lot of girls are dreaming of scoring that winning touchdown and kicking that winning kick and yet for a lot of children with cancer, they can't even dream that," said Gary Mervis, Camp Good Days.

This year's Courage Bowl will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Saint John Fisher College.

This will be the last Courage Bowl for the Yellowjackets, who have taken part in the game the last seven years. Mervis says the Courage Bowl will continue.
