The son of Monroe County GOP Chairman Bill Reilich was arraigned in Rochester City Court this morning on charges of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument.
William Reilich Jr. is accused of claiming unemployment benefits from June 2009 until
January 2010. The Department of Labor said he collected the money, $7,700, while he was working for Monroe County. He currently works at the Greater Rochester International Airport.
Reilich's attorney said his client has paid all the money back. He is also in treatment for a gambling addiction.
Reilich pleaded not guilty to the charges. He remains free and is due back in court in October.
