Jury Finds ATF Agent Did Not Use Excessive Force
A jury in the U.S Virgin Islands has found a Rochester-area ATF agent did not use excessive force in a civil case involving the death of a man in St. Thomas in 2008.

Will Clark was station in St. Thomas in 2008, when a neighbor asked him for help. She said her boyfriend was attacking her.

Authorities said the boyfriend, Marcus Sukow, went after Clark with a metal flashlight and Clark shot and killed him. Clark was cleared of second degree murder in 2010.

In response to today's civil case ruling, Thomas Brandon, Deputy Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said "the ATF has been steadfast in its support of Special Agent Clark and wholeheartedly agrees with the jury's verdict."
