Rochester police are investigating whether or not speed or alcohol played a part in the crash.

Police were called to East Avenue near Colby Street around 2:30. They say an SUV crashed and flipped over.

The vehicle hit a parked car in the process, causing a chain reaction and damage to two other cars. Police found the driver of the SUV a few blocks away on the corner of Winton and University avenues.

He was taken to Strong Hospital with what are considered to be minor injuries.

No one else was hurt.

Police have not yet said if any charges will be filed.
