6 People Receive Courage Award
The Third Annual Camp Good Days Courage Award is being presented to the six people who helped rescue the Clanton Family from the Erie Canal in August.
Rochester Police Department officers Adam Alliet and Paul Dondorfer, URMC medical students Bridget Hughes, Sarah Nevarez and Lindsay Wahl and Doctor David Lambert will receive the award during the Courage Bowl game on Saturday.
The six people helped with the rescue of Sam and Selah Clanton and their father.
The children were in a stroller when it went into the Erie Canal.
Their father jumped in after them and all three had to be rescued.
