Two Injured in Phelps Crash
Two people were injured in an early morning crash in Ontario County.
It happened on Melvin Hill Road in the Town of Phelps around 4 a.m.
Sheriff's deputies say the driver of an SUV swerved to avoid a deer, causing the vehicle to go off the road and flip over.
Two of the backseat passengers suffered neck injuries and were taken to the Strong Hospital.
Terrance Freeman, 24, was taken by Mercy Flight and Caroline Conrad, 21, was transported via ambulance.
Four other people that were in the vehicle refused treatment.
