Almost exactly one year after having a stroke, Mackenzie Murphy played competitive softball again on Sunday.
It happened just a year ago in the school cafeteria. Mackenzie, 14, found herself unable to move her left arm or leg, and shortly after unable to express herself.
It was then she collapsed and discovered by the lunchroom aid.
After a full year of recovering, Mackenzie is back on the field for her softball tournament
fund raiser for the Brain Injury association of New York State.
