The Monroe County Sheriff's Office held a ceremony Tuesday to mark Sheriff's Week, an event that honors those who died in the line of duty.
Three sheriff's deputies who died in the 1930s and 40s were added to a memorial that
recognizes those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for Monroe County.
During the ceremony, Sheriff Patrick O'Flynn also welcomes four new K-9 deputies who recently received certification.
