Chandra Majors died Sunday. Her body was found inside her Pierpont Street home.

Firefighters arrived on scene just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday. As crews put out the flames, other firefighters found her body on the second floor.

The 38-year-old was the mother of seven children.

Her wake will be held Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral is Monday at noon. Both are at Angel Hills Funeral Chapel, at 1125 St. Paul Street.
