Man Charged With Arson and Assault
Fire investigators have charged a Rochester man with arson and assault charges following a fire last week that injured three Rochester fire fighters.
Fire officials say 27-year-old David Borreggine used a flammable liquid to start a fire at 271 McNaughton Street. Three firefighters suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have charged Borreggine with third degree arson, and three counts of assault. All charged are felonies.
Borreggine is being held in the Monroe County Jail.
Firefighters say the house suffered significant damage.
