A Penfield man is facing drunk driving charges following a one car crash early Thursday morning.
Deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office were called to Old Penfield Road shortly after midnight for the report of a car into a pole.
Deputies say no one was in the car when they got there. They say the passenger returned to the scene shortly after they arrived, but they had to use a K-9 unit to search for the driver.
The driver, 38-year-old Richard Torrellas, was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, aggravated unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of an accident.
