Woman Faces DWI with Child in Car
An Ontario County woman is facing charges under Leandra's Law after she was found to be driving drunk with a child in the car.
Ontario County Sheriff's deputies stopped to help 45-year-old Diana Huizinga on Route 247 in the Town of Gorham Friday, where she was stopped with a flat tire.
Deputies found that Huizinga had been driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol with a 3-year-old child in the car. They also say she had cocaine with her.
She was charged with DWI and criminal possession of a controlled substance and will return to Gorham Town Court at a later date.
