Green Day Singer Goes to Rehab
Punk rock band Green Day is taking a temporary break as the group's lead singer gets help for substance abuse.
The band says singer Billie Joe Armstrong is seeking treatment. The announcement comes two days after Armstrong had a meltdown on stage in Las Vegas.
The band says it's postponing upcoming appearances. Green Day is scheduled to play the Blue Cross Arena in January.
No word yet if that show will be affected.
