Rochester Man Arrested After Police Chase
A Rochester man is facing charges after leading police on two high speed chases Friday.
State Police say they tried to pull over a car driven by 41-year-old Shawn Wallace in Wyoming County, when Wallace sped away.
Police followed Wallace into Genesee County where they lost sight of the vehicle. The vehicle was spotted going towards Livingston County, where another high speed chase began.
Wallace almost hit a marked police car head on during the chase.
Police took Wallace into custody after he got out of his car and tried to run away.
Wallace was charged with felony reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle, and several other traffic violations.
He was sent to the Livingston County Jail without bail.
