The Warsaw school district superintendent has resigned after it was revealed she was arrested for DWI last year.
Valerie Burke was arrested back in May of 2011 with a blood alcohol level of .15.
The resignation was revealed at a special meeting of the Warsaw school board Tuesday evening. After an executive session lasting about an hour and a half,the board came back to unanimously accept Burke's resignation.
The board announced elementary school principal Steven Saxton will be the interim uperintendent.
