Winner of GOP Primary Race in Livingston County Could Be Decided Wednesday
A judge could decide Wednesday who won the Republican primary in the race for Livingston County District Attorney.
After tallying all the votes, Steve Sessler and Eric Schiener each have 1,879 votes.
There are between four and seven absentee ballots that could break the tie. Judge John Ark will review the ballots and may or may not make a decision in court Wednesday.
If the race ends up in a deadlock again, it will be up to the Livingston County Republican Committee to decide between the two.
The winning candidate will face Democrat Greg McCaffrey.
