Owners of Pit Bulls to Be Ticketed Following Attack
The owners of two pit bulls will be ticketed for having dangerous dogs after an attack in the town of Canandaigua.

Cynthia Devaney was walking with her grandson and the family's dog Monday afternoon on Canandaigua-Farmington Town Line Road when two pit pulls charged and attacked them.

A school bus driver in Canandaigua, David Bliss, came upon the attack. Bliss stopped his school bus, got out, and started hitting the dogs. He was bitten in the hand and suffered claw scratches to his face.

The Ontario County Humane Society tells YNN the owners of the pit bulls, Tim and Rose Burnett of Canandaigua, will be ticketed under the town's municipal code for owning and harboring dangerous dogs. The dogs were ordered quarantined for ten days.

Bliss and Devaney were both treated for their injuries.
