Man Shot in Attempted Robbery
One man was taken to Strong Hospital after a shooting in the city early Friday morning.
Rochester Police say they were called to Weld Street near McFarlin Street just before 1 o'clock for the report of a man shot.
When they got there they found a 21-year-old Kaseem Tabon of Rochester with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to Strong Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
Police say the victim says he was shot during an attempted robbery.
Police do not have any suspects in custody and the investigation is continuing.
