Brittanee Drexel has been missing for three years now and her mother believes someone close to home may know what happened to her daughter.

Brittanee had gone to Myrtle Beach in 2009 with her friends when she went missing.
Dawn Drexel says she believes Brittanee's friends have been withholding information.

Drexel has written a three page letter she plans to have published in the newspaper recounting her side of the story and asking questions directed toward Brittanee's friends.

"It's been 3 and a half years and I think these kids need to start speaking up and giving information," said Dawn Drexel. "I think they know what happened to Brittanee. I'm not saying that they did anything, but I think they know something and it's bothered me ever since they came back from Myrtle Beach."

Brittanee's birthday is October 7th, making her 21 years old next Sunday.
