Victim Identified in Fatal Hamlin Crash

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies say one man is dead following a car crash Monday afternoon in the town of Hamlin.
Luis A. Alayon, 25, was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Route 260 when deputies said a truck pulled out into the path of the car.
Alayon was thrown from the vehicle and then struck by the truck.
The driver of the car, Alayon's girlfriend who was pregnant, was taken to Strong Hospital. The truck driver was transported by Mercy Flight to Strong.
Deputies said at this time, no tickets have been issued and the crash remains under investigation.
