Pittsford School Superintendent Retiring
Pittsford's school superintendent, Mary Alice Price, is stepping down as the head of the district.
The school board announced Tuesday that Price is retiring. She had been the superintendent of the district for more than ten years.
Price's retirement takes effect at the end of January.
Taking her place is current assistant superintendent Michael Pero. Pero joined the district in 1994 as a heath teacher before moving up the ranks. Pero will take over on February 1st.
