Fire investigators say the fatal fire last month on Pierpont Street was not accidental, but officials are not giving any further details.

Chandra Majors, 38, died in the fire. Firefighters found Majors' body on the second floor of the home.

The Rochester Police Department is now the lead investigation unit for the case.

They are now saying it is a homicide investigation.

Family members say she had seven children. Four still lived in the house but were not home at the time of the fire.
