Trader Joe's, a specialty food store, is now open in Pittsford Plaza.
More than 100 people lined up to be the first customers to shop the shelves. The popular west coast based grocery store focuses on organic domestic and imported food with many preservative free.
"We have been waiting for Trader Joe's to open for months now. My wife and I have traveled all over the northeast and shopped at Trader Joe's in New York City and Delaware. There are so many great products that are better priced than anywhere," said David Garza, from Naples. "It has a lot of organic stuff and natural. Our favorite product is the thick cut bacon; it is really good."
Trader Joe's is open daily 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
