It turns out that a former RIT professor's stint as Libya's prime minister was short lived.
The country's parliament voted to remove Prime Minister Mustafa Abushagur from office even though he had just been elected last month.
We met the native Libyan back in 2007 when he was tapped to become the president of the new Rochester Institute of Technology campus in Dubai.
Abushagur had until Sunday to form a cabinet or risk losing his job.
He was Libya's first elected prime minister after last year's overthrow of dictator Moammar Gadhafi.
