Nightmare Manor held a fundraiser at their haunted house Monday to benefit the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.

A portion of Monday's ticket sales, as well as the actors’ salary for the evening, will be donated. Throughout the month, there will be raffles and bracelets sold to benefit the coalition as well.

Nightmare Manor's manager Amanda Heffner says the fundraiser was an opportunity to spread chills and awareness.

"A friend of mine and I, both of our mothers are breast cancer survivors and since it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to give back to those who helped us through some hard times," Heffner said.

Nightmare Manor is open Thursday through Sunday at 7:30 and is located at the Southtown Plaza in Henrietta.
