Parents Become Involved in Fight at Soccer Game
A fight after a Hilton High School girls’ soccer game ended with two parents arrested. Tuesday, police in Greece issued an appearance ticket to 42-year-old Sherrie Siclare and 54-year-old Paul Siclare and charged them with a harassment violation.

What happened at a Hilton High School girls soccer game in Greece on Tuesday night has been some of the sideline talk at this high school boys soccer game.
"I've never had any direct contact with something like that happening at the high school level, where mothers were arrested at a high school soccer game,” said Donna Black. “Very shocking, very shocking."
According to police in Greece, words were exchanged between two women whose girls played for the Hilton High School soccer team after a game at Greece Arcadia High School.
Sherrie Siclare, the suspect in the case, says her husband was confronted by another parent earlier in the evening pertaining to what they describe as a misunderstanding. When she tried to clear up the situation with his spouse, that's when things became physical.
"Two females had started arguing and then engaged in a physical confrontation, at which point, one of the husbands intervened to try to break them up, and the second husband then tackled the first husband, which point we ended up making an arrest for," said Sgt. Charles Colburn.
Wednesday, some Hilton High School parents reacted to the incident off camera, by saying it's not a true representation of the district's parents. Colburn also says its behavior they rarely see.
"It happens but it's unusual. Most of the time they keep their heads, they may spout off a little bit but a physical confrontation I would say is very unusual."
Most hope it's something that won't happen again.
The Siclares say they are working to apologize to the soccer team for the misconduct.
You're watching your son or daughter play and so it's important that you take a look at that and say I'm representing them,” Black said.
No word on when that apology will be. The Siclares say their hope is that they will be joined by the other parents involved when it takes place.
