Man Charged With Emerson Street Arson
A Penfield man was charged with arson on Thursday in connection with a fire on Emerson Street in August.
Andrzej J. Gierczak, 61, was charged for allegedly setting fire to a two-story house.
Rochester's Fire Investigation Unit determined the fire to be set with an ignitable liquid.
No injuries were reported; however, the structure suffered extensive damage.
Gierczak is in the Monroe County Jail and scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
