Dog Owner Files Suit Against Deputies
The Perinton man whose pit bull was shot to death by Monroe County Sheriffs Deputies this past June has filed a lawsuit against those two deputies.

Gary Brockler's dog Diablo was shot and killed when deputies Shaun Le Clair and Matthew Clancy were responding to the home for a parking complaint. They say the dog approached them in an extremely aggressive manner.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office conducted an internal investigation and found the two deputies followed proper procedure.

According to the lawsuit filed on behalf of Brockler, the deputies actions were malicious and without just cause.
