Reports: Brizard Out in Chicago
According to published reports, the former superintendent of the Rochester City School District is leaving his job as CEO of Chicago Public Schools.
The decision is said to be a mutual agreement between Jean-Claude Brizard and Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
Brizard left Rochester to take over the top job in the Chicago Schools, a role he's held for about 17 months. Under his leadership, heated contract talks led to a seven-day strike by teachers.
