Legionnaires' Found in Hot Water System at Seneca Towers
Monroe County Health officials tell us that Legionnaires' Disease has been found in the hot water system of the Seneca Towers senior living complex.
Two people at the complex have come down with the disease. The first was from earlier in the year. This second case prompted the health department to investigate the cause.
They say they found it in the hot water and are encouraging residents at the senior living complex not to shower, as the disease is spread through the air while showering.
The resident who came down with the disease is being treated at an area hospital.
