The Irondequoit Police Department teamed up with the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce for this year's Road Rally.
It was the sixth year for the event.
Teams of two were given clues about various locations and had to follow a scripted route.
Many of the checkpoints were local businesses.
"We're trying to support many local charities and promote business within the town of Irondequoit," said Officer Jim Reed, Irondequoit Police.
More than 25 teams participated, looking to win the trophy.
Chamber of Commerce Representative Greg Goater said not only the first team wins in this event.
"Irondequoit wins because we're able to present our town, our community through the local area as still being a very vibrant place," said Greg Goater, Chamber of Commerce. "As being the place where you might want to do business, being the kind of place you might want to raise your family."
All proceeds will benefit the Irondequoit Police Department community education fund, Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce, Irondequoit Food Cupboard and the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association.
