Police say 37-year old Roderick Ross of Rochester was found along Lake Avenue near Ravine by officers on rounds.

The officer says he heard gunshots. He then saw a man stumble across the street in front of him and collapse.

Ross was shot several times in the lower torso. He was rushed to Strong Hospital for treatment.

Police have not made any arrests.
