Police say 42-year-old Larry Walrad has shot in the buttocks when he answered the door at his Silver Road home. Police say the bullet exited through Walrad's pelvic area.

He was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. He is currently listed in guarded condition.

Police say a man with a long gun shot Walrad through the door. Walrad also told police he saw another man through the window.

No arrests have been made.

There were four other adults home at the time of the shooting.
