Washington State Man Hit By a Van in Livingston County
A Washington state man was airlifted to the hospital after he was hit by a van in Livingston County early Monday morning. This happened on Route 63 in the town of York around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
According to State Police, a tractor trailer driver, 45-year-old Brian Scott of Trenton, New
Jersey, and his passenger, 24-year-old Jabril Jama of Seattle, got out of their truck to make sure they could get under a railroad underpass. That's when a southbound minivan hit Scott in the arm and then hit Jama.
Jama was airlifted to Strong Hospital, where he's in guarded condition for head trauma and a broken leg.
Troopers have ruled out alcohol and speed as factors in the incident.
