Fire officials say an elderly man has died following a house fire early Monday morning on Wilkins Street.
Antonio Sotolongo, 85, died Tuesday afternoon at Rochester General Hospital.
Investigators say an extension cord running under a bed started the fire.
Investigators say there were no working smoke detectors in the home. The Rochester Fire Department says city homeowners may be eligible for free smoke and CO detectors. Call 311 for more information.
