Students to Explore Construction Careers
Nearly a thousand Rochester area high school students will get a chance Thursday to see what a career in construction is like.
The 15th annual construction career day will be held at the Monroe County Fleet Center. The event aims to show students the different career options in the construction industry.
There will be hands on demonstrations including a crane simulator, a safety lift and a welding station.
Special guests include Rochester City School District Superintendent Bolgen Vargas and Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks.
