A not guilty plea in Monroe County Court from a suspended Monroe County Sheriff's sergeant facing six charges, including felony DWI.

Paul Doser is charged under Leandra's Law of DWI with a child passenger, reckless driving, and other charges.

Deputies said Doser was drunk earlier this year in Hamlin when he lost control of his car. The car flipped over in a field. A six-year-old child and another passenger were in the car at the time. No one was seriously hurt.

Prosecutors say Doser was speeding at the time of the crash,

"I think the situation speaks for itself. You have a six-year-old involved in a rollover and you have someone with a blood alcohol of .18 – that alone speaks volumes of as to what he did that day, irregardless of what his status is in the community whether he is a jail deputy or not," said Raymond Benitez, prosecutor.

If convicted, he faces up to four years in jail. His next court appearance is December 13th.
