MRSA Case at Orleans-Niagara BOCES
Education leaders at Orleans-Niagara BOCES are taking extra precautions after a person on the center's Medina campus was diagnosed with MRSA.
The superintendent of the Orleans-Niagara BOCES tells YNN that parents of students at the campus were sent letters notifying them about the case of MRSA. He said they were also notified about 12 additional cases of a skin rash.
The superintendent said they are working with the health department and doctors to review the cases, but that they are not considering this an outbreak of MRSA at this time.
