Rochester police say a 35-year-old Rochester man was sitting in a car in front of a home on Thurston Road just before 10 p.m. when two suspects approached him and started shooting at him.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his lower body and was taken to Strong Hospital, where he remains in stable condition.

Police are following up on leads and do not have any suspects in custody. They ask anyone with information to call 911.
