Rivers spent three full seasons in New York as the Yankees leadoff hitter, leading the team to three consecutive World Series from 1976-78.
He has been called the fastest Yankee of all time.
"Yeah, I've followed the Yankees all my life. Mickey played with a great cast of characters. Mickey himself was a great player. The guys that played around him, they were terrific. Those were great years, '77 to '78. Mickey, Reggie Jackson, they had Sparky Lyle, "Goose" Gossage. They were the Bronx Zoo," said Artie Trevis, Yankees Fan.
All fans received a personally autographed baseball or a vintage Mickey Rivers baseball card.
