Not Guilty Plea From Greece Police Officer
A Greece police officer accused of giving alcohol to a minor pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.
Officer Sam Ross appeared in Irondequoit Town Court. Ross is charged with three counts of unlawfully dealing with a child.
Greece Police Chief Todd Baxter said in September, he got a tip that Ross was providing alcohol to an 18-year-old man he met on a social media website. He says that happened three different times in the Town of Irondequoit.
Ross turned himself into the Monroe County Sheriff's Office earlier this month.
Ross remains suspended with pay.
