School board members and educators from across the state headed to Rochester for the three-day New York State School Board Association's Convention and Education Expo.
The annual event, now in its 93rd year, is bringing in thousands of educators to Rochester.
The event features over 100 educational sessions and exhibits and workshops
and is expected to return to Rochester for the next two years.
"It's a place where school board members can come, it's almost like drinking from a fire hose," said Tim Kremer, executive director, NYSSA. "They can see everything and everybody all in a three-day period, and, there's this networking opportunity, which is invaluable. This opportunity to speak personally and casually about the things that are concerning you back home, and maybe finding some ideas for you to take back home. I think it's a great investment for the Board of Education."
