INDEPENDENCE, N.Y. — A traffic stop led to a meth lab bust at a home Thursday morning in the town of Independence.

Zachary Billings, 23; Timothy Billings, 22; and 20-year-old Danae Hall were arrested in connection with the meth lab.

Along with a meth lab, police say a search of a Forsythe Road residence found 60 grams of methamphetamine oil. They also recovered two assault rifles, a hand gun and body armor.

"We've had several of these in our community, in the county, in the Southern Tier of late, but it's sort of something that has spread into the area from some of the eastern parts of the Southern Tier, where this has been a major problem for some time," said Chief Timothy Walsh of the Wellsville Police Department.

Police say more charges are pending.
