Police Investigate Late Night Stabbing
Rochester police are investigating a stabbing in the city late Thursday night.
Police were called to St. Mary's Hospital just before 11 p.m. for reports a stabbing victim had been dropped off.
Police found a 42-year-old Rochester man had been stabbed several times in the upper and lower torso. Police say it happened outside a home on Jefferson Avenue, near Magnolia Street.
He was moved from St. Mary's to Strong Hospital with injuries that appear to be non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made, but police say they are following up on several leads.
