A Brighton teenager facing charges after crashing his car into the back of a school bus was arraigned Monday.
John Zakhary, 16, was charged with reckless driving, unreasonable speed, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to keep right and violating his restricted junior driver's license.
Zakhary was driving three friends home from Brighton High School earlier this month when he rear-ended a school bus on Warren Avenue, pinning the car under the bus.
Zakhary and his three occupants were all taken to Strong Hospital. All have since been released, except for one, who is undergoing acute intensive therapy at a specialized facility.
Zakhary pleaded not guilty to the charges and is expected to return to court November 26th.
