Man Struck and Killed By Train Identified
A man was hit and killed by a train Tuesday afternoon on Rochester's north side.

This happened at the CSX railyard off of North Goodman Street shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say two men were walking along the train tracks when Seth Bachman, 23, of Rochester was hit.

Police say the two men were looking at the trains at the time.

"It's a very, very, very busy, busy train yard. We definitely advise anyone do not go on
train tracks. There's a lot of activity. Trains can come out of nowhere, and unfortunately when that happens, people can be killed or injured," said Sgt. Justin Collins, Rochester Police Department.

Bachman's death has been ruled accidental.
