Thousands are still without power in Monroe County and throughout the area.
This is an improvement from Tuesday, reports say there were about 10,000 outages.
About 1,000 were in Penfield and 3,000 in Webster.
They are a result of fallen trees striking power lines. Utilities say to always approach fallen power lines with caution and treat the wire as if it is live.
