ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- School 52 in Rochester welcomes Principal Li from a Chinese school about two hours outside of Beijing. While Li visits Rochester this week, the two will take the opportunity to learn from the similarities and differences of each school.

"Principal Li keeps mentioning that she wants to learn how we allow our students to be creative and independent and individualized," said Rainey. "But I keep telling her that I want to see how we instruct to set the expectation of academic rigor."

Principal Rainey will visit Principal Li's school in China in the spring to complete the Academic Principal Exchange.
