ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A split decision today in the trial of a Rochester man charged with the shooting death of another man in January of 2011. A Monroe County jury found Jyquale Thomas not guilty of second degree murder in connection with the death Broderick Howard, 32.
Howard was found shot to death on Baldwin Street on January 23rd. Thomas was found guilty of first degree robbery. He faces up to 25 years in state prison when sentenced. Carlton Dixon, 19, was charged as an accomplice in the case. He's awaiting trial.
